Bombe attributes the commission of the altarpiece with 'The Holy Family' in Santa Maria degli Angeli to this date. The document, the will of Angelo di Tommaso Conti, says only that this painting had to be done 'manu alicuius experti magistri', Perugia.

Egregius vir Ser Angelus Thomae Contis iudicavit et reliquit Ecclesiae S. M. Angelorum de Perusio, P. S. P., quantitatem 80 flor. cum hac conditione quod Fratres dictae Ecclesiae pro tempore existentes faciant construi et aedificari unam Cappellam in dicta Ecclesia, cum altari et tabula depicta et bene ornata super dicto altari, in qua faciant depingi figuram, sive imaginem Gloriosae S. Annae manu alicuius experti magistri, bene et condecenter ornatum; quae cappella intituletur “ La Cappella de Santanna „, pro quibus omnibus expendant et expendere debeant totam dictam quantitatem octuoginta flor., et haec omnia facere teneantur infra duos annos a die mortis dicti testatoris.
