[...] una [bella tavola] del Pintuticchio, in cui era la Natività della Beata Vergine, alla quale tavola Raffaelle da Urbino dipinse il gradino con grandissimo amore, come si ha dalla ricevuta di mano istessa del pittore, che l'autore di un MS. dell'archivio dei Minori Conventuali di Siena attesta avere veduto appresso i signori Sergardi nobili sanesi.
