[...] Perché io ho scritto a Giulio depintore che me compri alcune cose, pregovi li diate X o XII ducati, che lui ve farà intendere in che cosa gli haverà spese; e se quello che gli occorre comprare montasse più, dateli sino alla summa de 20 ducati secondo che lui ne ricercavi. [...]
[post scriptum] Se Julio ve darà qualche cosa da mandarmi, pregovi lo pigliate e vediate de trovare comodità, se possibil è, de mandarme, ma sopra tutto securmente. E quando non haveste comodità secura, non le mettete a pericolo.
