The deceased Gabriel de' Rossi has left his antiquities to his heirs or alternately to the Conservatori of Rome. Raphael declares that he has papal authority to seize them, whereas Paluzio de' Mattei, a Conservatore, states his own rights.

In presentia mei Pacifici de Pacificis notarii etc. Cum sit prout asseritur quod vir nobilis dominus Gabriel de Rubeis, in suo testamento scripto manu domini Latini de Mastis de eo rogati, inter alia bona in dicto testamento relicta reliquerit et ordinaverit quod in casum in quem figuras marmoreas et alias antiquitates ipsius testatoris modo aliquo aliquis superior vellet ab heredibus per vim et violentiam disrapere, quod in eum casum reliquit et voluit quod magnifici viri domini Conservatores propria eorum auctoritate possint et debeant illas capere et asportare et in palatio dominorum Conservatorum locare et conservare, pro honore ipsius testatoris et ornatu palatii dominorum Conservatorum. Et in presentiarum dominus Raphael de Urbino asserens habere commissionem a sanctissimo domino nostro dictas antiquitates capere et asportare contra voluntatem et ordinem prefati testatoris, idcirco personaliter constitutus coram me notario etc. vir nobilis dominus Palutius de Matheis Conservator pro
se et sociis, etiam cum voluntate et praesentia domini Dominici de Normandis executoris dicti testamenti, habens notitiam de premissis, volens executioni demandare et voluntatem dicti testatoris videlicet adimplere iuxta formam dicti testamenti, ex potestate sibi et sociis Conservatoribus attributa propria auctoritate dictas antiquitates asportare et in palatio dominorum Conservatorum collocare juxta formam predictam, asserens alias a sanctissimo domino nostro vive vocis oraculo habuisse
licentiam et potestatem dictas antiquitates asportandi et illas conservandi et collocandi juxta formam testamenti et de illis facere inventarium.
