[...] Io ho fatto ritrarre di stucco Laocoonte antico de Belvedere, d’altezza forzi d’un braccio, et a giuditio del Papa e di tutti gli scultori di Roma, non fu mai la meglio cosa ritratta, e l’autore è un Jacopo Sansavino che messer Julio vostro depintore vi pò dire chi egli è, e ci è stato tutto verno a ritrarlo, e N. S. spesso a Belvedere è ito a vederlo lavorare; et in somma fra x giorni ve lo mando, con molte altre novelle accompagnato. E pure hiersera N. S. me disse che ‘l quadro di Raphaelo è quasi copiato in Firenze, e che subito a V. S. Ex.ma lo manderà. [...] De Roma XXI M D XXV [sic].
